Who you are contracting with
Pearl Lemon Cafe is the trading name of Pearl Lemon Cafe Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14010473, registered office Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. The same registered company covers our event coffee, barista hire and catering work, so one supplier record covers all of it.
Insurance
Certificates are issued to your venue or facilities team on request, normally the same working day.
- Public and products liability: £10,000,000 limit of indemnity
- Employers' liability: £10,000,000 limit of indemnity
- Trades and professions package arranged through Howden (A-Plan Holdings, FCA number 310164), underwritten by Commercial Express Quotes Limited
Food safety
What we need from your venue
Coffee carts are self-contained apart from power and access. Confirming these early avoids a problem on the morning of the event.
- Serving staff hold Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certification
- HACCP-based procedures with temperature logging on milk and any chilled items
- Allergen information supplied in writing before the event for every drink and food item on the menu
- Dairy alternatives handled separately to avoid cross-contact
- A standard 13A socket per machine within reasonable cable reach, on its own circuit where possible
- A level pitch of roughly two metres by one metre for a single cart
- Access to a water point, or notice that we should bring our own supply
- A set-up window before doors open and a clear-down window afterwards
- Lift or ground-floor access, and a loading point for the equipment
Working on site
Our team arrives uniformed, signs in through your venue process, and works to your site rules on RAMS, fire marshalling and evacuation. We supply method statements and risk assessments where the venue requires them.
